Violist Grant Bedillion has performed as a soloist in masterclasses for Lawrence Dutton, Susan Dubois, Matthew Daline and Amadi Hummings. As a chamber musician Mr. Bedillion has performed for Phillip Setzer and the Miro Quartet. As an orchestral player he has played in the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, North Carolina School of the Arts Symphony and was in the premiere performance of Our Town, an opera by Ned Rorem. His teachers include Matthew Daline, Sheila Browne, Ulrich Eichenauer and Katie Dey. Mr. Bedillion recieved his Bachelor’s of Music degree in Viola at the North Carolina School of the Arts in 2008 and his Master’s of Music Degree from Louisiana State University in 2010. Mr. Bedillion is currently active in the Baton Rouge area as a orchestral musician, teacher and freelance musician.
